The project consists of draintile repair and improvement work. The scope includes installation of mainline draintiles using drilled dual wall pipe sized for a 3/8" runoff coefficient. Work areas include Line 1 and Line 2 mainlines along both sides of the open ditch from south of Shoal Avenue at the existing day-light outlet to north of North 26th Avenue, located either 10 feet from the existing tiles or 10 feet from the top of the ditch bank. Additional work covers Line 1A west of Black Diamond Trail, Lines 1B and 1C both west and east of the open ditch downstream of North 26th Avenue to just north of Brown Trail Road, Line 2A east of Black Diamond Trail, Line 2B south of North 25th Avenue, and Line 2C east of Line 2 and north of North 25th Avenue. Sub-mains will connect to provide service to individual properties. The existing drainage ditch will be excavated and dredged from Shoal Avenue to Shoal Creek to improve downstream capacity at the draintile outlet. Existing draintile will be capped and plugged every 200 feet. Specifications for installation require dual wall drainage pipe, all road crossings are to be open-cut and areas restored to existing grade, and all lengths, sizes, depths, and pipe slopes are as identified in the plans. The total length of draintile is 43,745 feet. Temporary construction signs must be installed. Additional requirements include following procedures and requirements in the bidding documents including those related to Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA).
