For furnishing of Well Abandonment #3. Question Cut Off Date 12/12/2025 11:59:00 PM (ET) Abandon BWL wells 85-01, 85-02, and 85-03 existing screened type 1 community wells located at 2025' W of Williams Road/150' S of Jolly Road, 2325' W of Williams Road/350' S of Jolly Rd, and 2400' W of Williams Rd/675' S of Jolly Rd respectively. The existing wells do not have a pump or equipment inside them. They are equipped with pitless adapters. Perform all work consistent with Michigan Water Well Construction and Pump Installation Code (part 127, Act 368, PA 1978 and administrative rules), R 325.1662-1670 for well abandonment. All work shall include mobilization, set up, abandonment to grade level, demobilization, and reporting to State of Michigan the abandoned status. Owner to remove upper casing and pitless adapter at a later date. Bidder to provide cu.ft. unit pricing for any fill less than or more than proposed volume in base bid as listed below. Additional fill unit pricing to include any additional mobilization/demobilization, setup, and equipment costs. Contractor to save and present cement/material slips to owner for verification of quantities. Lump sum price to perform the work based on current well information associated with Wellogic well log and/or owner records. There shall be a separate unit price per cubic foot of filling material associated with not being able to accurately assess needed cement volume. Assume 657.38 ft^3, 150.21 ft^3 and 185.55 ft^3 for the expected volume of wells 85-01, 85-02, and 85-03 respectively. Assume 20% grout volume loss through screen. 4. EVALUATION CRITERIA The bids will be evaluated based on base price of work (weight of 45%), unit price of work for additional fill (weight of 15%), work experience (weight of 15%), acceptance of LBWL's T&Cs (weight of 15%), schedule (weight of 5%), and competitiveness of bid (weight of 5%). The BWL reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, waive irregularities or technicalities in any Proposal, and accept any Proposal in whole or in part, which in the opinion of the BWL, is in its best interest. The BWL does not limit the methods or factors to be used for evaluation.
