The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) is soliciting micropile construction and testing services from prospective bidders for the above referenced project. The contract contains a total of seven (7) micropiles for a total combined length of 259 feet. These quantities are estimates for the sole purpose of comparing bids. The micropiles are to be constructed with a bond-zone in soil and tested in tension up to failure or to a maximum limiting load of 576 kips. Advertisement and availability of the contract documents through the Vendor Portal will be made in mid-December 2025 in advance of a mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting anticipated on January 6, 2026. Bids are anticipated on January 20, 2026 with anticipated field work in March 2026.
