Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work includes the installation of a new 6-inch HDPE force main by horizontal directional drilling with angled fittings, thrust blocks, and anchors. The installation also requires removal and replacement of a light pole and electrical box, a 12-inch PVC culvert, asphalt, and preparation of the subgrade as needed. The new force main will be connected to the old force main, and the disconnected section of the old force main will be drained, filled with grout, and capped for abandonment. The project further involves demolition and removal of the existing structure and installation of the proposed structure. All duties and obligations, as well as the provision of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other necessary or incidental items, are included for successful completion of the project. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the Project, the name and address of the Bidder, and the Division of Work. All bids must be submitted on the forms specified in the Contract Documents and Specifications, and accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bidder's bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the highest aggregate bid, as evidence of commitment to enter into the contract if awarded.
