Site work for a water / sewer project in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of the replacement or relocation of approximately 220 feet of 10-inch force main. Sealed bids for the construction will be received at Valparaiso City Services. Proposals must be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation of receipt of Addenda (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. Each bid must include a certified or cashier's check payable to Valparaiso City Services, or a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in constructing the type of facilities described. A bid must be submitted for both Division A and Division B to be considered responsive and responsible. The Owner will consider all possible bid combinations, and may also consider other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents. The Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities if deemed in the public interest.
