Site work and new construction of a stadium in Salinas, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade stadium.
Sealed bids are requested for the North Salinas High School Stadium Bleacher Project. Bids must comply with the Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications, which can be obtained electronically from the Architect. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct items after determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the base bid. Bids must be sealed and filed at 320 Rose Street, Salinas, California, before the specified deadline; facsimile copies will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held, and non-attendance will result in disqualification. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. The Contractor must pay prevailing wage rates. For projects over $25,000, contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work under California law, with registration numbers provided for major subcontractors. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Payment Bond and a 100% Faithful Performance Bond. The contractor must have a Class "A or B" California license at the time of the award and maintain it through the completion of the project and applicable warranty periods. The successful bidder will also be allowed to substitute securities or establish an escrow in lieu of retainage.
