Sealed bids are required for the contract to construct the project, as per the contract documents, drawings, and specifications available from the architect. The lowest bid will be determined based on the base bid amount. The contractor must comply with prevailing wage requirements, and the project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5 to perform public work.
