The project is for the construction of the West Campus Professional Development Center Project - Increment I BID 26-002. Bids must be submitted electronically through the online vendor portal. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined, and the lowest bid is based on the base bid amount. The contract duration is 150 calendar days. Contractors must pay prevailing wage rates and comply with Department of Industrial Relations requirements for public works projects. Only contractors registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5 are eligible, and the public works contractor registration number must be provided for each subcontractor performing over 0.5% of the bidder's total bid. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each for one hundred percent of the Contract Sum. Attendance at the mandatory bid walk and pre-bid conference is required for bid qualification. Bids must be submitted by the stated deadline, and late or hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
