The intent is to purchase and deliver chemicals for the Water Reclamation & Reuse Facility for the 2026 calendar year. The chemicals include approximately 115 totes (31,625 gallons or 356,500 lbs.) of Aluminum Sulfate 48-50% solution in 3,100 lb. or 275-gallon reusable or caged totes (maximum height 56” and maximum tare weight 300 lbs.), approximately 40 totes (11,000 gallons or 92,000 lbs.) of ND4688LA Polymer in 2,300-pound caged totes, and approximately 6 drums (330 gallons) of Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% solution in 55-gallon drums. Bidders should provide pricing per gallon or pound delivered, deposit per container type (if applicable), delivery schedule, whether fuel surcharges are included, whether the truck has a lift gate, and whether the price is guaranteed for the calendar year. Chemical orders may vary month to month. All chemicals and containers must meet safety regulations and all trucks must have lift gates for deliveries. Deliveries are requested as needed, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a charge for late unloading. The City may purchase more or less than estimated volumes, but the price must remain the same unless otherwise specified. Bidders must also supply Safety Data Sheets with their bid and complete a signed Bid Proposal Sheet. Failure to provide all required information may result in a non-responsive bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive technicalities as determined by the City Manager. All applicable City, State, and Federal laws and affirmative action requirements apply. The City will not accept proposals containing certain limiting or risk-allocating provisions, and all contracts are subject to specific local ordinances and statutory requirements.
