Bid forms, contracts, and specifications can be obtained by contacting Remington & Vernick Engineers, with arrangements made by phone or email, and payment of $50.00 per set is required. No bids are to be picked up or dropped off at the engineer's or municipality offices; all bids must be delivered prior to the bid opening date and time. The Borough of Belmar reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty days after receipt, to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and to waive any informality. Bids must be on the designated bid form, enclosed in a sealed envelope with bidder's name and project reference, and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond not less than ten percent (10%) but no more than $20,000.00 of the bid amount, and a certificate letter from a surety company stating provision of the completion bond. The award of the contract is subject to necessary moneys and permits being provided.
