Bids must be prepared on the forms provided by Remington & Vernick Engineers, submitted in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and project reference on the outside, and addressed to the Borough Administrator at 601 Main Street, Borough of Belmar, New Jersey 07719. Each submission must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from an approved surety for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid total, not to exceed $20,000.00, and be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating it will provide the required completion bond. Award of the contract is contingent on the provision of necessary funds by the Borough and securing all required State, Federal, or Local permits.
