The work consists generally of the demolition of existing ceilings for the basement, first floor, and second floor of the Fresno County Central Library, including fire sprinkler modifications in the basement. New T-bar ceilings are to be installed on the first and second floors, along with some new ceilings in the basement, and extension of mechanical ducts to new ceiling levels. Existing lighting fixtures will be replaced with new lighting fixture components and a new lighting system throughout the basement, first floor, and second floor, including additional power circuits to two break rooms and installation of new electrical panels. Bids are required for the entire scope described. Bids will be compared on the basis of a total lump sum bid.
