Site work for a fire / police facility in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The project comprises site work, installation of 2 pole mounts, signal head mount, flash synchronization kit, and obtaining PennDOT approval for the Hollenback Fire Station Warning Flashing Lights. Bidders are required to submit bid security equal to ten percent of the total bid. The successful bidder will need to provide satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. All wage rates must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act 442. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment based on race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or family status, and employment or advancement must be based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Compliance with Equal Employment requirements and 2 CFR 200.231 for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises is required. The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to request additional information if necessary.
