**As of January 12th, 2026, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available.** The City of Wilkes-Barre intends to award an Emergency Services Contract to a qualified firm with expertise in the Repair & Replacement of Sanitary & Storm Sewers and Storm-related Emergencies under the solicitation for the: The City of Wilkes-Barre Emergency Service Contract (Sanitary & Storm) Repair & Replacement and Storm-related Emergency Proposals Subject Line Must Include Project Title: The City of Wilkes-Barre Emergency Service Contract (Sanitary & Storm) Repair & Replacement and Storm-related Emergency Technical Problems or General Questions regarding the bid can be directed to jzaykowski@wilkes-barre. pa.us or (570) 208-4138 The scope of Work is defined in the request for proposals. The term of the contract shall be three (3) years, with the option for the City to extend the agreement for one (1) additional year, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement of both parties. One contract will be awarded to the responsible proposer who submits the lowest qualified bid, best availability, and current, applicable PennDOT Certifications. The successful proposer shall anticipate a Notice of Award within 30 days after the proposals have been reviewed, and a Notice to Proceed shall be issued shortly thereafter. The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to request additional information from bidders when doing so is in the best interest of the project. The City of Wilkes-Barre is an equal opportunity employer. The City of Wilkes-Barre adheres to the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and all applicable federal and state laws. Wilkes-Barre City Hall is a facility accessible to persons with disabilities This project is being financed by the City of Wilkes-Barre Liquid Fuels Budget Fund.
