The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of , titled Renovate Various Buildings, Illick Enabling Projects - Syracuse Campus (Renovate Office of Research Programs 4th Floor, Bray Hall) and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Renovate rooms 401, 402, 415 suite, 416A, and 416B in Bray Hall to become new office space for the Office of Research Programs at SUNY ESF. This work involves removal of existing partition walls, installation of new partition walls, flooring installation, including alterations to existing ACT ceiling, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and data. This project will require coordination with Rehabilitate Elevators and Bathrooms - Bray Hall, which is already awarded. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) SDVOB Goal: 6.00% Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 15.00% WBE Goal: 15.00% All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
