Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Mount Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project consists of the construction of a new 0.1 mgd package Wastewater Treatment Plant including but not limited to influent vault and metering, headworks and screen, SBR treatment concrete tanks and equipment, UV disinfection, blowers, yard piping, new electrical service, duct banks, new process control and blower building, demolition of existing treatment plant and existing electrical, and all associated appurtenances. For contractors who have received a hard copy, please contact Alli Muzzy, JHA Environmental Project Assistant, amuzzy@jhacompanies.com, (570) 407- 7028 with RFIs 12-31-2025 5:00 PM This Contract is to be: Contract No. 2025-WW2 - New Wastewater Treatment Plant The Work to be completed under this Contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, etc. and performing all work as necessary and/or required to complete Scope of the Contract for Perry Township Municipal Authority's New Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Extension, as set forth on the Drawings and in accordance with these Specifications and Project Manual. The Work to be completed includes, but is not limited to, the following general items: 1. All site work, excavation protection (as required), earthwork, embankment, trench excavation, backfill, demolition, roadways, site piping, erosion and sedimentation control plans, paving, walkways, curbs, fencing, etc., as specified in Division 2 of these Specifications and shown on the Drawings. 2. Contractor is responsible for removal, testing (if required) and disposal of all residual sewage waste materials within the existing treatment tanks and pump stations that are to be demolished and/or renovated. All material shall be disposed of at an approved landfill or disposal facility. Costs to be paid under the cash allowance. See Section 00300: Bid Form. 3. All cast-in-place reinforced concrete and pre-cast concrete work as shown on the Drawings and specified in Division 3 of these Specifications. This work shall include all concrete equipment and housekeeping pads for equipment provided under this contract, along with miscellaneous site concrete. 4. All foundation, substructure, superstructure, structural and buildingarchitectural work as shown on the Drawings and as specified in Divisions 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of these Specifications. 5. All related surface preparation and painting work specified in Division 9 of these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. 6. All building specialties and as specified in Division 10 of these Specifications and shown on the Drawings. 7. All process treatment systems, mechanical process equipment, safety equipment, and laboratory equipment as specified in Division 11 of these Specifications and shown on the Drawings. 8. All equipment conveying systems, furnishings and supplies, as specified in Divisions 11, 13 and 15 of these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. 9. All process and mechanical piping systems along with all piping system appurtenances as specified in Divisions 11 and 15 of these Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. 10. All other piping systems not specifically indicated on the Drawings or specified herein shall conform with Divisions 11 and 15 of these Specifications.
