Separate sealed bids are requested for the purchase of ammonia for a potable water treatment plant with an 18 MGD capacity. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District and plainly marked as a bid for ammonia to be opened on January 15th, 2026. Bid prices must be F.O.B. to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Treatment Plant, 5590 Hwy. 178 West, Fulton, MS 38843. Ammonia must comply with ANSI/NSF Standard 60, and vendors must provide a certificate of approval with their bid. The bid is for bulk anhydrous ammonia, meeting specified chemical requirements: 99.98% minimum ammonia, 3 ppm maximum oil, and 150 ppm maximum water, refrigerant grade or better, and compliant with AWWA standards. Deliveries are to be made Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with order size based on available plant storage. Bids should be for bulk quantities and prices must remain constant for six months, February 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026. No price modifications, fuel surcharges, or other additional charges will be recognized during the term. The District reserves the right to accept alternate bids if the primary supplier cannot provide the specified product and to reject any and all bids.
