Separate sealed bids are invited for the purchase of lime for a potable water treatment plant of 18 MGD capacity. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked as "Bid for Lime to be Opened January 15th, 2026." Bid prices must be F.O.B. to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Treatment Plant, 5590 Hwy. 178 West, Fulton, MS 38843. The District reserves the right to accept alternate bids if the primary supplier cannot provide the specified product. Lime must be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved, and vendors must provide a certificate of approval with their bid. The lime is to be supplied in bulk and must meet these specifications: available lime index 2.0%; available calcium hydroxide 95.93%; CaCO3 0.61%; magnesium oxide 3.0%; 90% of material to pass 325 mesh; water insolubles retained on mesh to be less than 0.8%. Delivery must be made within 5 days of order notification to the plant site in Peppertown, Mississippi, recognized delivery times are Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Order sizes will be based on available storage at the plant. All prices must be for bulk quantities and remain constant for six calendar months from February 1st, 2026 through July 31st, 2026, with no price modifications allowed during the term. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All Bids Must Be Submitted in a Sealed Envelope Addressed to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District. Each Sealed Envelope Containing a Bid Must Be Plainly Marked on the Outside as "Bid for Lime to Be Opened January 15th, 2026." Bid Prices Will Be F.o.b. The Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Supply District Reserves the Right to Accept Alternate Bids in the Event the Primary Supplier is Unable to Provide Product as Specified. Lime Must Be Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approved. All Vendors Shall Provide Certificate of Ansi/nsf Standard 60 Approvals. This Shall Be Sub-mitted With Your Bid. The Bid Shall Be on a Bulk Basis and Material Shall Meet the Fol-lowing Specifications: 1. The District Shall Not Recognize Any Modifications to Price of the Chemicals During the Term, Including but Not Limited to Fuel the Surcharges and Other Charges. Invoices Received After the Third Wednesday of the Month, Will Be Paid the Following Month. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
