Simpson Track Reconstruction The project site is at the Wayne State field on Lindahl Drive at R Andreson Street in Wayne, Nebraska. The replacement track will be an 8-lane hard surfaced track. The base under the surface is anticipated to be either concrete or asphalt pavement. No new significant grade raise fill is expected to be used in the project. Location- 1111 Main St Wayne, NE 68787 The Board of Trustees of the Nebraska State Colleges DBA Wayne State College is hereby requesting bid proposals for the Simpson Track Reconstruction. Friday, January 23, 2026 Estimated date to issue Notice of Award. Friday, January 30, 2026 Estimated date to execute contract and issue Notice to Proceed Monday, March 23, 2026 Estimated preconstruction meeting date. Monday, March 30, 2026 Estimated commence construction date. Friday, May 29, 2026 Asphalt paving completion deadline Wednesday, July 1, 2026 Begin track surfacing installation. Friday, July 17, 2026 Substantial completion, perform final walk through and inspection with Owner and Architect. Owner can occupy. Friday, July 31, 2026 Final Completion. Question Deadline 12/30/2025 Direct questions to the Architect's Representative. Clarifications requested by bidders must be in writing not less than 7 days before date set for receipt of bids .
