Wayne County 2025 Box Culverts Wakefield South, C-90(654) Structure No. C009002225 Section 19/30-T26N-R5E Hoskins Southwest, C-90(655) Structure No. C009000505 Section 32/33-T25N-R1E Wayne County, Nebraska projects are located: C-90(654) - on 854 Road between 582 Avenue and 583 Avenue; C-90(655) - on 560 Avenue between 846 Road and 847 Road, both in Wayne County, Nebraska The project is referred to as "Wakefield South, C-90(654) & Hoskins Southwest, C-90(655)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of: C90(654) - triple 12' x 12' x 70' Concrete Box Culvert on a 55 degree skew (lhb); C-90(655) - triple 12' x 10' x 40' Concrete Box Culvert on a 0 degree skew; both with channel shaping, roadway grading, and other related incidental work. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the County Treasurer of Wayne County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and an End of Construction date for each project with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date is December 1, 2025. The successful bidder (i.e., Contractor) will be allowed seventy (70) calendar days for completion of each site after beginning work at the site, provided they do not exceed their specified completion date. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. No project can be started without the intent to complete that site without delay from the other sites; therefore, the Contractor will not be allowed to start the removals at a site unless they have committed a crew to complete the work at that site. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 23-3110 to 23- 3114.
