Site work, paving and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Wayne, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of the construction of three (3) baseball/softball fields, including associated grading, paving, and utilities, along with all other related work further described in the plans and specifications. All additional requirements regarding bid submission, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are provided in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The use of local subcontractors is encouraged to support local economic development. Bid security must be furnished as per the Instructions to Bidders, and bidders are required to be registered on Sam.gov, with proof of registration for both contractors and subcontractors. The City of Wayne reserves the right to accept any bid deemed most advantageous, reject any or all bids, and hold bids for up to sixty days after opening. Compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, and RCRP guidelines is required, with a preference for small, minority, and women's business enterprises, as well as labor surplus area firms and domestic procurements. Question Deadline 02/19/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
