New construction of a power facility in Wayne, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade power facility.
Furnishing and installing a new control enclosure with related accessories and auxiliary equipment for the Northeast Substation. The work must be in accordance with specifications and proposed contract forms currently on file. Each bid must be submitted on official forms provided by the Engineer and accompanied by either a certified check or a bid bond for at least five percent of the bid amount. Bid security will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract and post a satisfactory Performance Bond. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Materials must be delivered as specified. Suppliers may obtain bid forms and specifications from DGR Engineering in Rock Rapids, Iowa. The Owner will pay ninety-five percent of the contract price within thirty days of material delivery and the remaining five percent after final completion, field assembly, testing, receipt of required test reports, record drawings, final documentation, and approval by the Engineer. The City Council reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid for up to thirty days and may reject any or all bids.
