Sealed bids are requested for furnishing major materials for the Northeast Substation for the City of Wayne, Nebraska. The required materials include GOAB Switches, Capacitor Voltage Transformers, and Substation Steel. Work must conform to the specifications and proposed form of contract filed with the City. Each bid must use forms provided by the Engineer and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of not less than 5% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Wayne, with no conditions. Late bids will be returned unopened. Bids must be submitted either by email or in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Clerk, clearly marked as a bid for furnishing major materials for the Northeast Substation. Bid documents and specifications are available from DGR Engineering. The City Council reserves the right to defer acceptance of any bid up to thirty days and to reject any or all bids.
