Renovation of a municipal facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and means of construction necessary and incidental to the removal and replacement of partitions, casework, flooring, doors, disconnecting, relocating, and connecting lighting controls and fire alarm components associated with door replacements as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent of the bid amount. Bidders must not withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the opening. This is an exempt capital improvement project; bidders must not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bids will not be accepted from entities deemed non-responsible by the New York State Office of General Services. This is a covered project under New York State Labor Law, and each bidder and subcontractor must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor, submitted with the bid. All employment conditions and minimum wage requirements must be observed. The right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids is reserved.
