Renovation of an educational facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Roof repair work for Bridgewater State University, Flight Training Center. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: o Remove and dispose of approximately 220 linear feet of existing edge metal. o Secure the field membrane using bars and metal plates. o Replace approximately 100 linear feet of 2x6 wood blocking. o Furnish and install a 3-foot-wide, 60-mil EPDM membrane around the perimeter, terminating over the edge with a termination bar fastened into the existing brick. o Mechanically fasten around existing roof penetrations, including pipes and curbs. o Reflash existing penetrations with new EPDM flashing. o Furnish and install EPDM patches over areas previously repaired with roof cement. o Reflash approximately 80 linear feet of the rising wall with new EPDM, secured with a termination bar. o Inspect the existing roof membrane, patch any holes as needed, and repair T-joints as necessary. o Comply with all applicable Prevailing Wage rate requirements.
