The Project includes tree clearing including the removal of stumps, shrubs, and underbrush. Bids are requested for the following Contract No. 1: Watertown Water Treatment Plant Water Quality Improvement Project - Tree Clearing. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 30 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the City of Watertown and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. Technical questions shall be submitted in writing on the RFI form via email to tbartlettbearup@watertown-ny.govThe subject heading for all e-mails shall be Watertown Water Treatment Plant Water Quality Improvement Project - Tree Clearing. The Bid is subject to MBE/WBE participation requirements. MBE/WBE participation requirements shall be in accordance with NYSEFC goals, which has a combined minimum of 20%. The City of Watertown reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
