Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,400-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removing existing 14,400 square feet of EPDM roofing and insulation, removing two ventilators, and infilling open areas with roof panels. Install new insulation and EPDM roofing, as well as new flashing at vents and piping. Rework and install a new flashing tie-in to the existing west metal roof. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. Substantial Completion: June 1, 2026 Final Completion: July 31, 2026 Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. The Iowa Board of Regents seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. The Iowa Board of Regents, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
