The City has included a spreadsheet with approximate sizes and room numbers, corresponding to the floor plan provided, for the shades to be replaced. The sizes shown are approximate dimensions for the purpose of this bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for their own measurements before installation. The shade specifications are based on a pilot program conducted in select City Hall offices, through which the City evaluated and approved shade type, materials, and features. These specifications reflect the pilot-approved solution and are intended to match the recently installed City Hall shades for consistency in appearance, performance, and maintenance. Provide and install shades at Ames City Hall. The City of Ames is accepting bids from qualified contractors to provide and install shades at the specified location. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
