Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of bridge maintenance repair work at five (5) locations in Cranston, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Pawtucket and Providence. The five (5) project locations are as follows: Location 1 - Bridge 001101, Route 1A, Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown Location 2 - Bridge 013901, Ocean Ave, New Shoreham Location 3 - Bridge 048051, Park Ave, Cranston Location 4 - Bridge 054851, Pine St Bridge, Pawtucket Location 5 - Bridge 060301, Pedestrian Bridge at Merino Park, Providence. The proposed work at each bridge is shown on the plans and generally includes the following: Location 1: Painting below deck components and spot painting of abovedeck components. Location 2: Replacing lateral post tensioning strands. Location 3: Repairing eroded approach embankment and resetting of guardrail. Location 4: Repair concrete parapet, replace joints and joint sealants, apply concrete surface treatment - protective coating. Location 5: Beam end painting.
