Renovation of a municipal facility in Brentwood, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The scope of work generally includes improvements to the Leland Center Salt Storage facility (Contract A) and Municipal Salt Storage facility (Contract B), including but not limited to select demolition, structural repairs/modifications, replacement of roll-up doors, sectional doors, man doors, light fixture replacement, and painting and coatings and all necessary appurtenances. There are Add Alternates for cleaning and sealing the exterior masonry; adding a new door opening and replacement of a retaining wall. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit from Quest. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Baldwin to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Pre-qualification requirements: In accordance with Baldwin Borough Ordinance No. 933, bidders on this work are required to be included on the Borough's Pre-Qualified Bidders List.
