Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a 6,200-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 6,200 SF of concrete sidewalk slabs in Dougherty Lake and Four Winds Farm subdivisions. Special articulating joints will be installed at approximately 98 locations. The scope may be reduced in order to stay within the budget if necessary. Slabs to be replaced will be marked prior to the start of work by City Staff, as will articulated control joints. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Sidewalk Replacement, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
