Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in New Albany, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project is for engineering services related to a water infrastructure project, potentially funded by HUD - Community Development Block Grant, Appalachian Regional Commission, State Revolving Loan Fund, and/or other state and federal agencies. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: preparing a preliminary cost estimate and preliminary engineering report; if a grant is awarded, preparing plans and specifications; distributing bid documents; assisting in bid opening and preparing bid tabulation; assisting in execution of construction contracts; holding a preconstruction conference; and performing construction inspection, including periodic reports to the City and approval of all payment requests. All engineering services must be performed through project closeout in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal for Engineering Services" and will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. Required proposal content includes a list of qualifications for assigned personnel, firm's experience, and staff assigned to provide services. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
