**As of January 29, 2026, this project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid.** Street and drainage improvements to Gilman Road and Trudie Road in Pierce County, Georgia. All materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation are to be furnished. The project is financed with Local Maintenance Improvement Grant funding. All work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit a bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders must be certified by obtaining the bid package from the Engineer. Any work required in excess of 4 feet deep must be performed by a contractor or subcontractor with a valid Georgia Utility License, and the license number must be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Bids must remain valid for 60 days after opening. All materials, workmanship, and testing must comply with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and any supplemental provisions.
