Renovation of a military facility in Alameda, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

AMENDMENT 001 is issued to clarfy the following: Potential offerors must provide a representative at a site visit. This may be an employee of the prime contractor or a subcontractor. However, failure to attend a site visit may be considered by the agency in determining whether the prime contractor is responsible, i.e., whether the prime contractor possesses the apparent ability to successfully meet the contract requirements. AMENDMENT 002 is issued to clarify the government requires single pane glass for this requirement. All other terms within the Statement of Work are unchanged. Replace front and back doors and glass walls at Base Alameda, including removal of existing doors and glass panels and installation of new materials. Work involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the replacement in accordance with specifications and applicable standards. Tasks include proper disposal of removed components, ensuring structural integrity, and meeting security and aesthetic requirements for the facility. Contractor must coordinate work to minimize disruption to operations and comply with all safety and environmental regulations during the project. Payment Protection is required no later than 15 calendar days after award. As required by FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The intent of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to have the contractor furnish all labor, materials, services, equipment, and supervision at Building 24/26, Base Alameda. Due to numerous attempts at repairing the front door and back door of Bldg. 24/26, existing door is deemed unsafe and unrepairable for continuous use and needs full replacement to restore access to Barracks Building. This scope of work is to replace TWO 2-story storefront/door assemblies (front and back door).
