Site work and paving for a road / highway in Princeton, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work shall include, but is not limited to, milling of existing pavement, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt, full-depth pavement patching with hot-mix asphalt, and reinstalling thermoplastic pavement markings as specified. Costs of downloading, printing, and shipping shall be the Contractor's responsibility. Any questions, comments, or requests for clarifications should be made to Steven Passey at United Consulting. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to Gibson County or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, a Performance, Labor and Material Bond shall be required in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the forms provided, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Gibson County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office the Secretary, Part 21, Non discrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation and Title 23 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 200, Title VI Program and Related Statutes, issued pursuant to such Acts, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contact entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of religion, race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability/handicap and low income in consideration for an award." Contractors and Sub-Contractors shall be INDOT prequalified. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening bids. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of Gibson County, or to reject all bids. Question Deadline 01/26/2026
