Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Princeton, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Work of this Contract comprises of Work to be performed at Gil Hodges Baseball Complex for the Gil Hodges Baseball Field Renovations Phase 2 Project for the North Gibson School Corporation as indicated in drawings, specifications and project manual. Please refer to all documents (drawings, specifications, addenda, alternates, general conditions) for the complete scope-of-work. B. Work consists of the following (general description) but not limited to the following 1. Prep and Demolition: a. Install soil erosion control measures as indicated and required. Install temporary construction fencing, signage and gates. b. Perform pot-holing to locate and confirm exact locations of all underground utilities prior to performing any Work. c. Remove existing concessions/restroom building complete, including all concrete pavement, foundations, disconnect and remove all utilities. Backfill all open excavations with #53 stone and compact as required. d. Remove plaques from building and turn-over to the Owner. Remove and turn-over existing door lock hardware and cylinders. All questions shall be submitted via email only NO LATER THAN the end day, Friday March 6th. Sealed bids will be received for the Gil Hodges Baseball Field Renovations Phase 2 Project as one unified Prime Contract. Complete and detailed drawings and specifications, including instructions to bidders, general conditions, and general requirements, are available for examination at specified locations. Copies of plans and specifications may be obtained upon depositing a specified amount, refundable under certain conditions. Digital files are available for purchase for a non-refundable amount. Physical copies must be returned in good, reusable condition within ten days after the bid opening to receive a refund. All mailing costs are the responsibility of the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Contractor's Bond for Construction in an amount equal to the contract price, complying with Indiana law. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, business location, and project name on the envelope, as detailed in the instructions to bidders. Bids may only be submitted by mail or in person (no fax or email). Bids must be made on the designated form and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for not less than five percent of the total bid. If the bidder withdraws the bid or fails to execute a contract or furnish a performance bond within ten days after award, the bid security may be forfeited as liquidated damages. The owner reserves the right to accept any bid within sixty days, reject any or all bids, waive formality or irregularity, and accept a bid for one or more projects. Contractors must complete work within the specified period as described in the specifications.
