The County of Frontenac invites interested proponents to submit a proposal for the supply and installation of one roof top HVAC unit at its long-term care home, Fairmount Home. The scope of this project is to provide a quote for all material, labour, overhead, removal and disposal of the existing unit, integration with the building automation system, and all other expenses as necessary for the installation and commissioning of the roof top HVAC unit. Question Deadline: Wed Feb 25, 2026 2:00 PM (EST) Prior to the Deadline for Questions, respondents may ask or seek additional information in relation to this RFQ through the Bidding System using the Submit a Question link associated with this bid opportunity. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Bidding System. All proponents must be registered as a Plan Taker on the Bidding System. Responsibility rests solely with the proponent to ensure its proposal is received by the Submission Deadline. All proposals must be legible and typewritten and must not exceed ten pages (excluding appendices). Required documentation includes a copy of the proposal, all required forms, a Certificate of Clearance from the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board certifying good standing, and proof of liability insurance with a minimum limit of $5,000,000. Proponents must check the Bidding System for any addenda up until the Submission Deadline. If a proposal is submitted before an addendum is issued, the system will automatically withdraw the proposal, requiring the proponent to review, adjust, acknowledge the addendum, and resubmit by the deadline. Proposals may be amended or withdrawn prior to the Submission Deadline. Proposals will be evaluated based on applicable expertise and demonstrated understanding of the scope of work, proposed approach/workplan, references, and budget. Selection is based on all information provided and evaluated criteria. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to negotiate modifications with selected proponents to arrive at a mutually satisfactory arrangement if needed. The successful Proponent will enter into a formal Contract with the County. During the term of the Contract, the successful Proponent must maintain liability insurance and proof of WSIB coverage with a valid Clearance Certificate kept up to date.
