Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Village of Brookfield's 2026 Lead Water Service Replacements - Phase III. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and will only be accepted from bidders who have obtained bidding documents from the Edwin Hancock Engineering Company. The procurement is subject to various regulations including the Procedures for Issuing Loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the federal Build America, Buy America Act requirements. Bidders must undertake specified affirmative efforts to increase the use of disadvantaged business enterprises at least sixteen days prior to bid opening. Compliance with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, is required. Bidders must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents, and no documents will be issued after 4:30 P.M. on the specified date.
