Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project consists of the work necessary to improve and rehabilitate portions of the combination sewer system on Maple Avenue and Madison Avenue using inversion lining and all other appurtenant work to properly complete the project in accordance with the specifications and bidding documents. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. after Village approval and pay a non-refundable fee. Proposals will only be accepted from those who have obtained documents from the designated engineering company. Each proposal must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check of at least five percent of the total bid, as a guarantee of entering into a contract and securing performance. All interpretations of the bidding documents must be requested in writing, and the Village may issue addenda for substantive changes or clarifications. Compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act and other labor laws is required. The Village reserves rights regarding bidder selection and proposal rejection.
