If you or anyone are going to bid on the projects, the Joint Sewer Board has said they would prefer stainless cabinets and would like to stay with the Hanson brand of gear box. Replacement aerator gear box #6 and two electric motors, (one on replacement #6 & one on existing aerator #1) with VFD's and control panels. And, for two replacement duplex lift station control panels. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Forms provided in the Bidding Documents Package and be accompanied by the bidder's certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. A performance and payment bond will be required of the successful bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to submit a certificate of insurance for worker's compensation. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Joint Sewer Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, when it is determined in the best interest of the Joint Sewer Board to do so, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and to award the contract on that basis. All Bidders must agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the OWNER for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against OWNER because of such rejections. The filing of any Bid in response to this invitation shall constitute an agreement of the Bidder to these conditions.
