The Scope of Work Includes: Rehabilitation improvements for Tiger Field Recreation Park All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Owner in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Owner. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed Date. Phasing of the project shall be as follows: Required work on the southern portion of the project which includes walking track and southern parking lot construction will receive a Notice to Proceed to start work August 3, 2026. The required work on the northern portion of the project, which includes the ball field, drainage, fencing, and parking lot construction will receive a Notice to Proceed beginning on December 1, 2026. Contract Time will be stopped and recorded, if applicable once the southern portion work is completed and then time will resume on December 1, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
