The Thorn Creek Basin Sanitary District is proposing to apply approximately 4,000 tons (dry weight basis) of anaerobically digested liquid lagoon biosolids to farm land. The work includes loading biosolids from the District's annex storage lagoon, hauling, and injecting them on farmland secured by the contractor. It also includes maceration and incorporation of vegetation/biosolids mats into the lagoon. Contract documents may be obtained free of charge at the District's Administration Building. Proposals must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the calculated total project cost. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Sealed bid proposals, clearly marked as such, will be accepted at the District's Administration Building until the specified time when all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
