Renovation of a water / sewer project in Port Orchard, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project involves the construction of HVAC upgrades at the Central Kitsap Treatment Plant. The principal items of construction include replacement of a portion of the HVAC system in the Lab/Admin Building, various architectural repairs, repair of a portion of the HVAC system in the Sludge Process Building, and replacement of the air conditioning unit at the Headworks Building. Bids must be submitted to the Kitsap County Purchasing Office by the indicated deadline. Prospective bidders are solely responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids. A mandatory pre-bid meeting, including a tour of the buildings listed, will be held at the Central Kitsap Wastewater Treatment Plant. This will be the only tour of the site and facilities. Question Deadline 02/23/2026: Should a bidder have a Request for Clarification or find discrepancies, ambiguities or omissions in the drawings or specifications, or should a bidder be in doubt as to their meaning, bidder shall at once notify Brian Stewart, Construction Manager, (360) 271-5349 or email rbstewart@kitsap.govQuestions received by the Contracting Agency less than seventy-two (72) hours before bids close may not be answered.
