The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and ancillary materials required for the installation of electrical conduits and equipment pads/pull boxes as described and illustrated within the bid documents. Electrical conduits, fittings, and equipment pads/pull boxes will be provided by the owner. Seller shall Furnish Goods and Special Services specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Goods and Special Services are generally described as follows: Phase 1: Install approximately 3,130'of 2" Electrical Conduits. Phase 2: Install approximately 3,785' of 2" Electrical Conduits. Phase 3: Install approximately 2,950' of 2" Electrical Conduits. Electrical Conduits will be provided by the Owner to be installed by the Contractor. Pickup from FDU Warehouse, transfer, delivery and storage during construction will be the responsibility of the Contractor. If required, fiberglass transformer pads, steel ground sleeves for switching cabinets and concrete or composite pull-boxes will be provided by the Owner to be installed by the Contractor. Pickup from FDU Warehouse, transfer, delivery and storage during construction will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Each bidder must submit with their proposal a certified check or bid bond by a nationally recognized company, countersigned by a resident agent, payable to the City Treasurer, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price to guarantee good faith and the entering into a contract within 15 days after notification of acceptance at the price bid. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder at the time of contract execution. Bids will be evaluated based on price, time required for completion, reputation and experience of the contractor, proposed subcontractors, and all supporting documentation required and submitted within the proposal. The City reserves the right to select the bid which best suits its needs whether price is the lowest or not, and also reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities therein. All bidders must agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the City for any penalty brought by any bidder because of such rejections. The filing of any bid in response to this invitation constitutes an agreement of the bidder to these conditions. Bidders may not withdraw bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
