Bids are being asked for provision of all necessary labor, equipment and materials required to construct two water main extensions listed as Schedule A Early Bird Rd: approximately 1,950 linear feet of 8-inch and 2-inch diameter water main, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances within a private road; and Schedule B Sunde Rd: approximately 1,300 linear feet of 8-inch and 2-inch diameter water main, fire hydrants, and other appurtenances within a public road as described in the project specifications. The project is located in Silverdale, WA as described for each of the project schedules listed below. Schedule A Early Bird Rd starts at the intersection of NW Gustafson Rd & NW Early Bird Rd, extends along NW Early Bird Rd, and terminates at the west end of NW Uff Da Lane. The project lies within the NE 1/4 of Section 7, Township 25N, Range 1E, W.M., Kitsap County, WA. Schedule B Sunde Rd starts at the intersection of Clear Creek Rd NW & NW Sunde Rd, extends along NW Sunde Rd, and terminates at the west end of NW Uff Da Lane. The project lies within the SE 1/4 of Section 5, Township 25N, Range 1E, W.M., Kitsap County, WA. The prospective bidder shall be a licensed and bonded contractor in the State of Washington Electronic bids will not be accepted. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, made payable to the order of the Silverdale Water District by the successful bidder, in case they fail to enter into a contract, file an acceptable surety bond in the sum of 100% of the contract price, or fulfill conditions of said contract within ten days of the date of the award. The contract will be awarded to the qualified bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid. SWD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities in the bidding.
