Site work for a communication facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a communications tower.
Contractor to furnish, install, and test a new Corning 12-strand single-mode OSP dielectric fiber optic cable from Building 3458 Core Node to Building 6413 49 Test facility. Scope includes providing all materials, labor, supplies, and equipment necessary for the installation of a 12-strand single dielectric cable as specified. All parts and pieces to be used must be submitted to 2d Communications Squadron for approval prior to ordering. The contractor is responsible for all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirements as outlined in the Statement of Work. All equipment, supplies, and materials provided must be new and not refurbished and meet the stated requirements.
