Renovation of an educational facility in Ashland, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,670-square-foot educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for a single Prime Construction Contract involving an 8,670 SF interior renovation at the Northwood Technical College Ashland Campus, located at 2100 Beaser Avenue, Ashland, Wisconsin. Bids must be submitted electronically and clearly labeled with the campus location. No hard copies will be accepted. The project will begin upon execution of the agreement, with on-site work starting on or after May 18, 2026, and scheduled for completion by August 7, 2026, in one phase as indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids are not permitted. Bidders are required to attend a pre-bid conference at the Northwood Technical College Superior Campus, and any requests for interpretation or substitution must be submitted in writing to the Architect. Clarifications or modifications will be addressed via Addendum. Bidding documents are available electronically from OPN Architects, Inc., and can be viewed at various Builders Exchanges. Hard copies may be obtained for a fee. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid is required, in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check, credit union share draft, or a surety bond using AIA Document A310. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Northwood Technical College reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to enter into contracts deemed in its best interest.
