Furnishing all tools, equipment, materials and labor necessary for the construction of the Public Safety Complex Exterior Painting and Spall Repair - All Buildings. The project generally consists of exterior painting, spall repairs, and general repairs of various existing buildings at the Public Safety Complex, all in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted electronically and late bids will not be considered. To access plans, specifications, and other relevant documents, parties must be registered as a Public Purchase Vendor, Hawaii Region, and Hawai'i County Agency. Prospective bidders must file an Intent to Bid with the Director of Public Works by the specified deadline. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form must be submitted and approved prior to the bid opening. The Proposal and Schedule of Values must be downloaded, completed, signed, and uploaded with the bid submission along with the bid security. Pre-qualification requirements: All bidders must prequalify before responding to the bid. Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawai'i, General Building Contractor's License "B". The SQQO form must be received and approved by the Department of Public Works at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the bid opening. Registration as a vendor in the Public Purchase system is required, and an Intent to Bid form must be filed by the prospective bidder by the specified deadline.
