Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Potosi, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work involves the construction of a two-cell 5' x 10' cast-in-place concrete box culvert and associated wingwalls on Hamilton Hollow Road, Washington County, Missouri, as specified in the provided plans. All work must comply with the requirements for the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations and the Davis-Bacon federal wage rates, applying the higher of the two when applicable. Bidders must purchase plans from Great River Engineering and be listed as planholders to submit a bid. Contractors must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List and submit a contractor questionnaire at least seven days prior to the bid opening. All contractors and subcontractors must provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. Each proposal must include a certified cashiers check or a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, and no 2nd tier subcontracting is permitted. The Washington County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 03/11/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Design Professional in writing, Questions must be received by the Design Professional at least four (4) working days prior to the bid opening.
