Limit : 1350 FT W OF 1ST ST TO USH 53 To address the deteriorating pavement structure and preserve the function, operation, and safety of this route in the overall transportation system. This rehabilitation project is a pavement replacement project with new 8 concrete over 6 of base course for the urban area and pavement resurfacing (mill 2.25 and pave 3.25) with aggregate shouldering for rural areas, total project length is 2.24 miles. The project will include ADA curb ramp replacements, add new sidewalk and replace existing, USH 63/STH 70 intersection geometric modifications, guardrail replacements, culvert cleaning and replacement, new box culvert and storm sewer design. It is both urban and rural in the City of Spooner on STH 70 from Auto Lane to USH 53, Washburn County. City of Spooner is intending to reconstruct their sanitary sewer/watermain under a separate city project. This will require significant coordination along more intensive public involvement. TLE exhibits are expected for real estate at the pedestrian curb ramp locations.
